Welcome to Howard Block Management, a family-run business dedicated to providing professional, reliable and personalised property management in Worthing and the surrounding areas.

Paul and Sarah Howard bring 40 years of combined experience in property management, helping freeholders, leaseholders and residents’ associations navigate the complexities of block management with confidence.

Why We Started

We founded our property management business as an extension of our sales and lettings agency, Howard & Co, after being approached by leaseholders dissatisfied with their existing block management services. They trusted us to step in, and from there, our reputation grew.

Thanks to word-of-mouth recommendations and a commitment to exceptional service, our portfolio has expanded steadily over the years. After 16 successful years, we made the decision in November 2023 to sell our sales and lettings business. Since then, we have focused purely on property management, allowing us to provide an even higher level of dedicated support to our clients.

Paul Howard
Paul Howard began his career in construction and project management, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry before co-founding Howard & Co and Howard Block Management. His expertise and deep understanding of building issues mean he can confidently solve complex building-related problems, and he takes great satisfaction in doing so. Outside of work, Paul enjoys travelling, fishing, playing golf and gardening.

Sarah Howard
Sarah Howard began her career in the legal profession before transitioning into property management. For the past 16 years, she has managed the administration and accounting side of Howard & Co and Howard Block Management, ensuring the business runs smoothly and efficiently. Her attention to detail and organisational expertise help keep everything from financial management to compliance in perfect order. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys travelling, playing golf, walking their dog and singing in a local choir.

Refundable Holding depositCapped at 1 weeks rent
Security DepositCapped at 5 weeks rent for annual rental under £50,000, or 6 weeks rent for annual rental over £50,000

Early termination chargeNot exceeding the landlord’s financial losses
Late payment of rentInterest of 3% above BoE base rate for each day the rent is late, once it is 14 days overdue
